HOW TO REACH AFFILIATE ON TWITCH

Reaching affiliate status on Twitch requires meeting certain criteria set by the platform. Here are the general steps to achieve Twitch Affiliate status:

  1. Stream regularly: Consistency is key on Twitch. Stream regularly and stick to a schedule that works for you.

  2. Meet eligibility requirements: Twitch requires you to meet certain criteria to become an affiliate. As of my last update, these requirements include:

    • Have at least 500 total minutes broadcast in the last 30 days.
    • Have at least 7 unique broadcast days in the last 30 days.
    • Reach an average of 3 concurrent viewers or more over the last 30 days.
    • Have at least 50 followers.
  1. Grow your audience: Engage with your viewers, network with other streamers, and promote your channel on social media to attract more followers and viewers.

  2. Create high-quality content: Make sure your streams are entertaining, interactive, and of good quality. Invest in a decent microphone, webcam, and streaming setup if possible.

  3. Engage with your audience: Interact with

your viewers through chat, polls, and other engagement tools. Building a strong community around your channel can help you retain viewers and attract new ones.

  4. Promote your channel: Use social media, forums, and other platforms to promote your Twitch channel and reach a wider audience.

  1. Apply for the Twitch Affiliate program: Once you meet the eligibility requirements, you can apply for the Twitch Affiliate program through your Twitch dashboard. Twitch will review your application and, if approved, you'll gain access to additional features such as the ability to earn revenue through subscriptions, bits, and ad revenue.
